Jorge Castro Florez was born in Barcelona (Spain) in 1938, and passed away in 2011 in Agost (Spain).
Jorge Castro Florez spent his challenging childhood and youth in Spain, France, and particularly in South and North America. He began his artistic journey with wall murals, discovering his preference for metal, a material he subsequently used to create his three-dimensional sculptures.
