Antonio Abellan

Antonio Abellán was born in Cartagena (Spain) in 1964.

From 1983 to 1989, he pursued his studies at the San Carlos Academy of Fine Arts in Valencia. In his works, Antonio Abellán portrays humorous scenes from everyday life. He describes his paintings as “sensory works that tell humorous stories.” In Abellán’s pieces, one encounters both old fabric remnants and excerpts from vintage fashion magazines, which he uses to clothe “his people.”

Since 1987, Antonio Abellán has participated in numerous exhibitions and international art fairs.
