Oscar Bento

Oscar Bento was born in 1950 in Punta Alta, Buenos Aires, Argentina.

After many restless years that took him from Latin America to Europe, especially to the Netherlands and Belgium, he settled on the southern coast of Spain and has been living and working in the province of Alicante (Spain) since then. In his paintings, predominantly acrylic on canvas, Oscar Bento explores the various lighting conditions of the Mediterranean region in his own unique and expressive way.
